Why are some versions of the shirts for sale offered without the free T-Shirt for a kid?
Everyone’s budget is different, and not everyone can afford to sponsor a T-Shirt for a teen in addition to buying one for themselves… but we want to give everyone the opportunity to wear the amazing H8SUX.com message. Because of this, we offer lower-priced “Budget” versions of most hoodies, tanks and tees so everyone can participate!
What brand are the T-Shirts printed on?
We want to provide the best of the best, so we print on American Apparel, Alternative Apparel, Gilden, & other brands. It all depends on the hoodie, tank or tee you order. See the product description of each individual item to check out what it’s made of and see the corresponding size chart in the H8SUX.com Shop to get the perfect fit!
How do I know if the item I want is in stock?
The numbers will be reflected in the online H8SUX.com Shop, when you select the size. If you order something, we have it on the shelf and ready to ship out to you! :)
How long does it generally take to restock an item?
We want you to have the biggest selection possible at all times, so we aim to restock most items once a week, depending on our suppliers. It can take anywhere from 7 to 14 business days as long as the items are in stock from the manufacturer.
What is a coupon code and where do I get one?
Coupon codes are exclusive offers on specific items or during specific times. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr to see when these deals are offered!
How much does shipping cost?
That depends on where you live and what you bought! The H8SUX.com Shop automatically calculates your shipping cost and let’s you see it BEFORE you pay.
Does H8SUX.com ship to my country?
Yes - H8SUX.com ships world-wide! From Argentina to Zimbabwe, and every place in between! Our system automatically lets you know the shipping cost for your order BEFORE you pay. Where ever you’re at in the world, wear the H8SUX.com message with pride. If you’re near a world landmark, take a picture of you in your shirt with it and post it on our Facebook wall :) Note: Free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirts are currently only available in the United States & Canada - sign up HERE if you want us to let you know when we add more countries.
When will my card be charged?
Your credit or debit card is authorized and charged once you complete your order and hit submit. You will receive a conformation E-mail once your order is placed.
Why is my credit card being declined?
We’re not sure! Check with your credit card provider to see if there are any issues with your account. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and U.S. money orders - so if you have another method of payment, feel free to try that! :)
My card/PayPal was billed by Good Ideas for Good Causes - what’s up with that?
Good Ideas for Good Causes is the formal name of our parent company! They helped make this happen. Cute name, isn’t it?
What if I don’t have a debit, credit card or PayPal account?
Not a problem! There are prepaid debit cards that you can load cash onto. These can be purchased at most pharmacies and stores like Wal-Mart. A few websites for prepaid cards are Greendot, Mastercard, and Visa.
My order just will not go through, why?
There are a few things you can do if this happens to you! Make sure all your information is being correctly submitted during the order process, like credit card numbers and addresses. Also, make sure you are filling out all required fields. If this doesn’t work, try using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache. Unless the website is down, the ordering system is working and it might be a glitch on your side of things. I did not receive my order confirmation E-mail, what should I do?
The H8SUX.com Shop has an automated system that sends out a conformation E-mail at the end of your transaction. Be sure to check your spam folder and the E-mail address that you entered when checking out. If you entered the incorrect E-mail, let us know through our costumer service outlets and we can resend the order conformation to the correct E-mail address :)
Why have I not received my order yet?
Orders usually leave our warehouse within a day or a few days after they have been placed, depending on inventory. If we are out of stock on a particular item, an order may be slightly delayed until that item is restocked, we will let you know. We restock items weekly. Other common causes for delays are entering wrong addresses; things like people selecting MI instead of MT as the state, or leaving a digit off an apartment number. Also, if you live outside the United States, many countries have customs agencies that temporarily hold foreign packages for inspection, which might cause a delay. How long will it take my order to ship?
It all depends on where you are and what speed of shipping you selected. Our orders are shipped from Columbus, Ohio (United States). If you are outside the U.S., it will take longer to arrive because of the distance. Most orders will be shipped within 48 hours of being purchased. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified and your order will be sent as soon as it’s restocked!
How will my package be shipped to me?
With as much care as possible, it will be shipped via USPS or UPS depending on the class of service you selected during the checkout process. If your purchase includes free shipping then your order will be shipped USPS First Class Mail. Also, it will be sent with love.
Do you have tracking numbers for orders?
Yep! All USPS shipments will have a delivery confirmation number and UPS will have a tracking number that will be E-mailed to you once your order is being processed for shipping.
Can I cancel my order?
Of course! In fact, you can get a full refund, as long you cancel within 24 hours of receiving the shipment processing E-mail and your order hasn’t left our warehouse. If you want to cancel your order after 24 hours of receiving the shipment processing E-mail, there’s still hope! As long as it hasn’t left our warehouse, we can refund you the cost of the item purchased (but not the shipping/handling).
What do I do if I have a problem with my purchased order?

I received the correct order, but would like to return it… what is the process?

What is your exchange/return policy?
Because of our charitable mission, all sales are final. If there is a defect or error with your purchase, we’re more than happy to replace it for you - just get ahold of us at (704) 75-H8SUX or E-mail us at Chris@H8SUX.com. If you ordered a shirt and it ended up not fitting - we’re happy to swap it for you for the right fit within 14 days of delivery, but again, because of the charitable mission, all we ask is for you to cover the shipping. The H8SUX.com marketing and production team is based in San Francisco, California. The business office is located in Troy, Michigan. The T-Shirt warehouse is in Columbus, Ohio. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your H8SUX.com gear, so we accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and money orders (USD only). What if i I received my order in the mail, but it’s wrong?
If you received an incorrect order, please contact us by signing into your account and sending us an RMA (Request to Manage Account). Fill out the form and one of our customer service representatives will be in touch with you. They will send you instructions on how to return the incorrect item.

We sell hundreds, and sometimes thousands of orders per day, and as expected we get plenty of individual questions regarding specific orders. How does H8SUX.com work?
Every time anybody buys a hoodie, tank or tee in the H8SUX.com Shop, we give a Tee to a teen in school for free. It’s all about giving kids a voice to speak out against homo-H8 at school. H8SUX.com gives a free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirt to teens who have made approved YouTube Pledge Videos. For every specially marked full-price product sold in the H8SUX.com Shop, we give a teen on the waiting list their Tee for free!
What age do I have to be to get a Free T-Shirt?
Free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirts are available only to teens within a certain age range. If you are 19, you’re an adult and we hope you’ll help sponsor a teen’s Free T-Shirt by buying your own hoodie, tank or tee in the H8SUX.com Shop. A Federal Law called the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act prohibits the collection of personal information from children of a certain age. If you’re too young, feel free to talk to your parent or guardian about having them order you a T-Shirt from the H8SUX.com Shop to wear proudly at your school! :)
Do I need parent permission to get a Free T-Shirt?
No, but we suggest you get it! Parents can cancel their children’s participation at any time. To avoid conflicts, talk to your parents or guardians about wearing this message to school. It’s important, if possible, that you and your folks are on the same page.
Do I have to make a YouTube Pledge Video to get a Free T-Shirt?
Yep, and we can’t wait to see it! It’s all about spreading the word!
What do I do if I don’t have a camera?
Cameras are everywhere these days, so ask friends or family if you can borrow their phones, iPads, laptops, webcams, digital cameras - whatever! Be resourceful, make it happen! You can do it! :)
Can I make a pledge video with my friends or with a group?
Yes! …and no. You can work together and make your videos with each other, however, each YouTube Pledge Video can only be used once to sign up for a Free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirt. Both YouTube and our system automatically checks for repeat videos to stop greedy twirps from scamming lots of shirts. However, if you and your friends or your Gay Straight Alliance make a group video, feel free to make small changes in the editing and upload it seperately for each person - we manually check each submission and can’t wait to see you and friends!
How do I upload my Pledge Video?
Because YouTube is always updating and changing, check out their help section HERE on how to upload a video. Whether uploading from a mobile device or setting up a YouTube account, all questions are comprehensively answered in their upload FAQ section.
My sibling got a Free T-Shirt, can I?
Totally! However, we only allow one Free T-Shirt per household - so you have two options. You can either use the shipping address of someone you know - like a friend or family member (just make sure they know!) or buy one at H8SUX.com.
I’m a teen in Canada, can I get a Free T-Shirt?
Yes! You can sign-up for your Free T-Shirt and we hope to begin shipping Free T-Shirts to teens in Canada very soon!
I’m a teen outside the United States and Canada, can I get a Free T-Shirt?

I’m a teen and I filled out the Registration Form, and it told me I didn’t meet the age requirement - why?
If you are 19, you’re an adult! If you still don’t meet the age requirement, then you may be too young. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act prohibits us from collecting information from teens of a certain age. If you’re too young, feel free to talk to your parent or guardian about having them order you a T-Shirt from the H8SUX.com Shop to wear proudly at your school! :)
I tried signing up for a Free T-Shirt, but it said I was too young. I am now of age to get a Free T-Shirt, am I able to now?
Of course! You just have to use a different computer to register, as our system blocks computers that have previously attempted to register but were not within the age range allowed by federal law.
I submitted my H8SUX YouTube Pledge Video, but I haven’t received my confirmation E-mail. What gives?

Can I get a different T-Shirt or other item for free? Nope! The “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirt is the only Tee we give away for free (it’s a great message, don’t you love it?). If you would like a different T-Shirt, wristbands, hoodie, tank-top or other item, you can purchase it from the H8SUX.com Shop.
Do you make your Free T-Shirts in any other colors?
No, but it’s free! And black goes with everything! But if you simply MUST have a different shirt, you can buy any shirt you want at the H8SUX.com Shop.
What sizes do the Free T-Shirts come in?
They come in XS-XL in Adult Sizes. There is a size chart in the sign-up form that will help you decide which size is best for you!
Are the Free T-Shirts fitted?
No, they are unisex adult sizes. If you would like a fitted shirt, you can buy one from the H8SUX.com Shop :)
How do I change my Free T-Shirt size or shipping address?
Enter in your E-mail address in the teen log-in area on the Help Page or the Free T-Shirt Sign-Up Page and you will be sent a link to a form which allows you to change your address, name, T-Shirt size or cancel your participation in the program. But don’t cancel - we’ll miss you!
When will I get my Free T-Shirt?
We want you to get your Free T-Shirt as soon as possible, but you could be on the waiting list for days or for months, it all depends on a few factors, like the number of fund-raising T-Shirts sold on H8SUX.com, how many kids have signed up, and how many “clicks” each Pledge Video has received to move them up the Free T-Shirt Waiting List. The more specially-marked T-Shirts we sell, the more Tees we send out for free - so spread the word! H8SUX.com sends out free “OK4U2BGAY” Tees on a first-signed-up, first-sent-out basis, and factors in the number of “clicks” a teen’s video has received, so share your unique H8SUX.com Pledge Video link with your friends and family to get your Free T-Shirt faster. The more “clicks” your video gets, the faster you move up the waiting list to get your Free Tee! We usually ship out big batches of shirts bi-monthly, so please be patient.
Where am I on the Free T-Shirt Waiting List?
Because the ranking is always changing depending on how many fund-raising T-Shirts are sold, how many “Clicks” each Pledge Video gets, and the number of teens signing up, we can’t tell you where you are on the waiting list at any one moment. I received a confirmation E-mail saying my T-Shirt shipped, but I never received it?
Allow up two weeks from when you receive your confirmation E-mail before you start panicking. To save costs with giving out tens of thousands of Free T-Shirts, your shirt was shipped (if you live in the United States) through USPS First Class Mail, and as such, there is no tracking number. With that said, you might not have received it for a couple of reasons, such as entering an address error while filling out the Free T-Shirt Sign-Up Form, or it could have been confiscated or taken by somebody in your household who disapproves of the message. Unfortunately, to avoid dishonest scammer claims just to get extra tees, we can’t send out another Free T-Shirt. However, you can always go to the H8SUX.com Shop and purchase any shirt you love. Yeah, this sucks, but we hope you understand!
My T-Shirt’s the wrong size - can I exchange it?
Unfortunately, because of the charitable and free nature of the T-Shirts, we can’t exchange the T-Shirt if you requested a wrong size - so be sure to check the size chart! Boo! :( We hope you don’t have a problem with your kid speaking out against H8 toward lesbians, gays, bisexuals or transgendered kids. But if you insist, enter in the E-mail that your child signed up with in the teen log-in area on the Help Page or the Free T-Shirt Sign-Up Page and you will be sent a link to a form which allows you to cancel participation in the program. If you are a parent that doesn’t have access to your kid’s E-mail information, but would like to revoke your child’s opportunity at being shipped the “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirt, please contact Help4U@H8SUX.com for assistance in deleting your child’s profile. As far as the YouTube video that your child created, H8SUX.com has no ownership of it and you can remove it through the account your child uploaded it with on YouTube.com.

Is H8SUX.com a charity or a private business?
It’s the best of both worlds! H8SUX.com is a private T-Shirt company with a directly charitable mission that we’re personally passionate about: fighting homo-H8 in schools. We believe that in a world full of bullies, suicide, and hate, tens of thousands of kids wearing a pro-gay message to school is life-saving and great. It works kind of like Tom’s Shoes: for every hoodie, tank or tee sold on H8SUX.com, we give a free “OK4U2BGAY” Tee to a teen to wear and show they care. Everyone says “it gets better” - and we think this is a great way to make it better! We believe the world would be a better place if good causes had the same savvy marketing as products like iPods, soft drinks and designer jeans, and we hope you agree. As we grow, we’re eager to also expand to a 501(c)(3) charity. Our bottom line is making a difference.
Where do the proceeds from accessories go?
There are a lot of hidden costs involved in creating a social movement that’s all about making and distributing Free T-Shirts around the nation, from maintaining a warehouse and supplying customer service, to web design, video production and marketing. When you also factor in the cost of printing and shipping out thousands upon thousands of Free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirts, it really adds up, and it’s not all covered by T-Shirt sales alone. Accessory sales help off-set these costs and help make the whole project possible… so get a wristband, already! ;)

Awesome! We don’t take donations, but you can sponsor a teen getting a Free “OK4U2BGAY” T-Shirt!
